About me
From a young age, I’ve been drawn to the art of combining seemingly different worlds: the rigor of science, the depth of Eastern wisdom, and the thrill of exploring the world around me. As a child, my life was immersed in sports, primarily figure skating, but I also explored many other athletic pursuits, learning early on about discipline, resilience, and the joy of movement.
This passion for understanding the body and human potential led me to pursue higher education in sports science, followed by a PhD in the biomedicine of exercise and public health. But beyond academics, I’ve always been intensely physical, I thrive on challenges that test my body and mind.
Whether skydiving, bungee jumping, climbing mountains in winter or summer conditions, swimming with sharks, sailing, or mastering any sport I take on, movement is my language. This is kinesthetic intelligence, the innate ability to understand, express, and excel through the body, which defines much of who I am.
Alongside this, I’ve traveled extensively, letting the world be my classroom. In Europe, I’ve visited Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey. Beyond Europe, my journeys have taken me to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji in the Pacific, Indonesia, India, Nepal, and the Maldives in Asia, and the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon in the Middle East.
For me, every journey, is an opportunity to integrate science, philosophy, and experience. Each adventure informs my work, enriches my understanding of the world, and deepens the connection between mind, body, and environment.
